I wove an aerial piece inspired by Zion National Park to capture its beauty, and I had a thick burnt sienna merino yarn that matched the park’s hues. Seeing this felt like a sign to incorporate Zion’s landscape into my art. To highlight the park's greenery, I embroidered with green yarn. For the river, instead of traditional blue, I chose a multicolored merino yarn to give it a distinct texture, creating a unique representation of Zion.
